Our Conversation on Peace

This is in keeping with the stated purpose of the International Association of Lions Clubs; To create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world. We believe that peace begins with greater appreciation and understanding of our differences as individuals.
The St Albert Host Lions Club see the Canadian multi-cultural community offering an opportunity to promote this understanding.

Our February Showcase of Cultures featured presentations on Brazil and Black History Month

Luciana Grossi gave a very informative and impressive presentation about Brazil; featuring information on the geography, culture, food, music and history etc.

Marilyn MCGreer regaled us with a very interesting and engaging story on the history of her life; including what it was like to be a new comer growing up in Edmonton in the 1970s and 80s.

The St. Albert Host Lions Club participated in the 2023 Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign!!

Sat. Dec. 2 All Day of Service for St. Albert Host Lions Club members volunteered their time and energy by looked after the Salvation Army Kettles at Walmart (north entrance) and Super Store.
